New Purchase:Wallet.

This isn't such a recent purchase, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. I had my eye on it for a while and eventually got over the price and decided it was worth it. My previous wallet was falling apart anyway. It is of brilliant quality and is so interesting. Not that it of much importance, but it's versatile with a lot of outfits. Technically I could use it as a clutch! It can fit my phone and my house key, plus money and cards.

Urban Outfitters
£20

On a side note:
I seem to have lost the majority of my pictures from my previous posts.
If anyone knows how to fix this, that would be great.
If not, I'll just post away and forget about those posts.
Thanks.

New Purchase:Purple Bag.

I've been in the midst of my GCSE exams recently and have been working pretty hard, even if I do say so myself. As a result of this, ma mere has purchased un petit bag for me, which is wonderful!

I just think it's lovely! It's real leather and was purchased in a little shop down in Herne Bay which is on the coast of England. It's purple in case you can't tell and has lovely stitching detail. Perfect for shopping or even attending gigs.

What Have We Got Here?

Well, this is going to be a post to be a post on three items of clothing I have purchased or received over the last couple of months. Without furthur ado, let's begin:

Missguided.com
Velvet Cut-Out Skater Dress
£18.99
(Ignore the annoying model)
I really love this dress and am extremely happy that I bought it. I would have preferred the long-sleeved version but it was no longer in my size, but it looks better on than I thought it would.

This goes pretty well with:

Topshop.com
Velvet Lace-Up Heeled Boots
£78
They are exactly the same as in the picture but with a light brown coloured heel and in black( I think they're green in this picture). I originally wanted them in burgundy but as per usual, they weren't in my size. These were luckily a Christmas present as I could not afford these by myself and I am so happy with them! They are comfy and aren't too high either so can be worn day and night. Unfortunately, they are out of stock, but there is a pair called 'Alfy Suede Boots' that are pretty close!

Another Missguided purchase is:

Missguided.com
Navy Jersey Maxi Skirt
£8.99
There is a theme running through this post, as once again, I wanted this skirt in black but it didn't have my size! However, navy blue is nearly as versatile and it is a very dark blue. It is comfortable and warm, especially with leggings underneath and looks really good on. It was more form-fitting than I thought as it clings to my bum and thighs slightly, but that may be just because I have a small waist and larger hips.

Monki

Love it! Love it! Love it!
I recently found the Monki store off Oxford Street while shopping with one of my friends. I had heard of it from a couple of youtubers and bloggers and decided the clothes looked really pretty! I first looked online and planned to buy a few items later on in the week when I had time. However, the very day I planned to buy these items, I found them in the store off Oxfore Street! Saved me £6 in shipping and I got the clothes immediately! So happy!
Monki, in my opinion, is very unique. Each store has a quirky and different layout and the clothes are lovely and most of the time, well priced. Here are a couple of examples of stores:

I'm not sure where the first store is but the second is the store I went to off Oxford Street in London. As you can see they are very different.
      This is what I bought:
Lerima Top
£6

AIDA Singlet
£5

Millie Shirt
£19

I love both the tee and the vest top as the fabric is soft and silky and hangs beautifully! I actually bought the vest top in grey but they don't have the colour online I don't think so I can't show you the picture. But I do plan to get more colours soon. They are great layering pieces and work as a base for most outfits. They are so versatile. Pair them with some jeans and a jacket for a casual look or dress them up with a body con skirt and some wedges.
The Millie shirt is lovely aswell. I bought it in a medium as they didn't have a small and I didn't want to order it in the post to find the small didn't fit. The sizing on Monki is quite strange. So this means the medium is big and baggy and covers my bum. I don't really mind though. I wear it with either of the tops, a pair of denim shorts or black body con skirt and some brown boots or black lace-up brogues. The fact that I wear something tight on the bottom means that the top doesn't swamp me as long as I roll up the sleeves and have the buttons undone. I could also wear it with skinny jeans or leggings as the shirt covers my bum. I'm not a fan of leggings being worn as trousers. Too many people think they can and you end up being able to see their knickers through their leggings! Not attractive at all!
Anyway! That's my jibbering done! Hope you found this useful. You can look online on their website for a store finder or order online if there's not one near!

Speak to you soon!

The Runway.

Oh dear! I feel pretty terrible about neglecting this blog. I had no idea it had been 10 days since my last post! My excuse is that I've just gone back to school and I'm settling back into a routine and getting my head around being back at school after a long break.
Anyway, recently I've subscribed to fashiontv on youtube and I have to say, I love watching the videos! There are at least a couple of videos each day of runway shows or photo-shoots from every designer you can think of! They do both videos of the actual show and then the backstage footage of the hair and make-up. I really find it very interesting and it's great looking at all the different designer's Autumn/Winter collections.
My favourite has to be the Ne. Tiger Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 collection. It was just so beautiful and oriental! I loved the intricacy of each piece and how they were wearable but beautiful and precious at the same time. Each piece was also so different to the next which was great seeing as many fashion shows end up with very similar outfits. I loved how traditional it all seemed and the set-up of the actual runway was amazing. It was all quite tranquil and elegant.

Thanks for reading!

Mascara

When it comes to mascara, I always go for something relatively cheap because you can't always test them out. I'm not one of those people who will spend £10 on a mascara because £10 is a lot to me. It normally turns out great because I'm pretty easy to please. Make them stand out because I have very pale eyelashes and make sure it's easy to remove because I don't want to scrub my eyelashes off. One that didn't turn out how I expected was Collection 2000's Longer Lash black Waterproof Mascara:
I was really excited to try it as I am with all make-up products and was at first impressed by it. I liked the packaging and it seemed to make my lashes longer. And it was only £1.99! However when the end of the day came to take it off, I had to really scrub my eyes to remove it. I used make-up remover but it seems as if this mascara isn't just waterproof but make-up remover proof which isn't very helpful at all! Plus I was on holiday and forgot to take my mascara off when I went in the pool and so therefore ended up with some under my eyes (not very waterproof then) but even then the smudges under my eyes took way to long to get rid of! So basically in conclusion, I'm very disappointed in this product but at least I only spent £1.99 on it! I haven't tried any other products in the range and so therefore can't judge the whole brand, just this one mascara. Basically, steer clear of this! Hope this was useful!

Shea Body Mist

      Okay so here we go.......
I want to start reviewing on items I have purchased and tell you my take on them. Because it's always nice to be reassured that something is nice before forking out your money for it or in contrast, being told how awful a product is before you make the same mistake! So first off from the BodyShop:
Shea Body Mist
(£7)
Oh My Gee! It smells so good! I don't know why I like it so much and I don't know if maybe it's just me! But it's rather strange as I don't normally like the smell of Shea. It's never really interested me that much. But as we me and my friend were leaving the shop, a lady asked if I wanted to try it and I obviously said yes. And I Loved It. So yeah, go buy it! Nah, I'm joking. It's not fruity or sweet. It's not too in your face but it's still there. Okay maybe it is kinda sweet but how can you explain a smell!? It always makes me feel a whole lot better and prettier and all that. I feel it adds to an outfit I suppose. I feel as if I must smell beautiful and the smell does last! It's one of my first fragrances I've tried as I'm not normally a perfume girl but I'm glad I gave it a go! Great value for money in my opinion and I hate spending money! It also seems to last for a long time which is a bonus. It's still basically full despite getting it well over a month and a half ago! So, if you're in the vicinity of a BodyShop, I fully recommend going in and trying it! You might even get a free hand massage (they were amazing).
      Till next time!
